METRIC WIPERS

Metric matters with Master Wipe® Way Wipers. Our metric wipers, like our standard rectangular wipers, provide maximum way cleaning capability. Stock sizes are limited (see chart below), but specific customer requirements can be accommodated.

An optional style wiping lip is a feature unique to Master Wipe® Metric Way Wipers. Two styles are offered for your machine ways. Style 1 is our standard wiping lip. It provides firm wiping with a thick lip that forms an 8° angle. For those wiping operations requiring low pressure and reduced drag, the Style 2 wiping lip would be a suitable choice. This thin-lip style forms a 45° angle. Style 2 allows greater flexibility on the wiping edge, while maintaining maximum performance. The drawings below offer greater detail to help you make the proper selection.

Moly-filled metric wipers are new to Master Wipe®. For those applications requiring lower coefficient of drag and less stacking height, our thin-bodied metric wipers, filled with moly, offer a superior alternative. Style 2 is the only wiping lip available for the moly-filled wipers. Stock sizes are listed below with custom options available.

All units are mm. The wipers above are moly-filled. *B denotes 2424 wiper has a hole pattern in 4 corners and nonstandard border. The 4040 wiper has a hole pattern at midpoint each side.
